Dalyan is a small touristic settlement of Ortaca county and Muğla province. The town is located on the channel that connects Köyceğiz lake to Mediterranean sea. Dalyan was a fishing town during history, today it's a popular touristic resort with its hotels, beaches and ancient ruins. İztuzu beach is famous for Caretta Caretta turtles.
